Personal Data Usage

Signing up requires providing your name, email address, and possibly your postal address. We also ask you to select your areas of interest from our product categories. This information helps us tailor the newsletter content to your preferences.

  • Awning Registration: If you register an awning in our Camptech Club, this data serves as documentation.

Data Retention

Your personal data is stored until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. Following your un-subscription, we and our data processor will delete your data after three months. You can request deletion at any time by contacting info@camptech.com. Data related to registered awnings is retained until the extended warranty expires.

Your Rights

You have several rights concerning your data:

  • Access: Right to access your processed data.
  • Rectification/Erasure: Right to correct or erase inaccurate data (Article 16, GDPR).
  • Data Erasure: Right to have your data erased (Article 17, GDPR) by contacting info@camptech.com.
  • Restrict Processing: Right to restrict processing (Article 18, GDPR).
  • Objection: Right to object to data processing, including for direct marketing (Article 21, GDPR).

Extended Warranty Conditions

Camptech offers a full one year warranty on all of our new products. By registering selected Camptech Awnings with the Camptech Club within 12 months of purchase, this warranty will be extended to two years, from your date of purchase, subject to these terms and conditions.

Your Trust Pilot review is a mandatory requirement of the Camptech Club membership. We allow for up to 5 working days after joining the club to submit the review, if after this time, this has still not been completed; unfortunately, the extended warranty will not be valid. You will be notified directly via the email address supplied when signing up to the club.

To be eligible for the extended warranty, the product must be a brand new, unused item. This offer does not apply to ex-demonstration, second-hand, or “as new” products.

Miscellaneous Conditions

  • Vendor Requirement: Warranty applies only to purchases from a Camptech vendor.
  • Coverage: Covers manufacturing defects, including materials and workmanship.
  • Exclusions: Does not cover wear and tear, such as leaks from poor maintenance.
  • Proof of Purchase: Warranty requires a purchase receipt.
  • Non-transferable: Warranty is void upon resale.
  • Product Eligibility: Applies to optional products on the registration form.
  • Registration: Camptech Club registration is mandatory.

General Warranty Provisions

The Sale of Goods Act covers defects present at manufacture or delivery.
